EST. 1615 is real, by the way. Étienne Brûlé, Champlain's interpreter, first European to lay eyes on the water. Four hundred and eleven years before anyone tried to rename it.

Why it isn't $22

The rack version at the marina is four and a half ounces and you know how that one ends up. This is seven, dyed after it's sewn, so it shows up already soft and a little uneven at the seams and it fades instead of going grey.

  • Boxy, oversized, dropped shoulders, wide ribbed collar

Sizing: this tee runs large

It's cut oversized on purpose. If you want a classic fit, order one size down. The crewneck runs the other way, so if you're buying both they won't be the same size letter.

Width is flat across the chest, armpit to armpit. Easiest way: measure a shirt you already like and match it. May vary up to 2".
